Beginner Basics Beginner Yoga classes at the Yoga Loft are fun and inspiring. Come breathe, stretch, be challenged and relax as you learn all about Yoga. It’s easy to pre-register online. Slow Flow & Stretch (*Bf-Beginner-friendly) offers all the benefits of yoga, but at a slower pace to release stress and tension from joints and muscles. In this all-levels class, we will focus on gently building strength, flexibility and range of motion. The class concludes with restorative poses to calm the nervous system and aid in the release of deeply held tensions from the body and mind. You’ll leave feeling renewed and at peace!
Yin Yoga (*Bf) In Yin Yoga we work on restoration and alignment by holding poses longer in order to fully release stored tension from the body. A wonderful introductory class for the beginner student and for those desiring a more relaxed flow. Come join us and discover all of the wonderful benefits of Yoga. Energy Flow Yoga is a fun yoga workout that will make you sweat! This class moves more quickly than our Yoga Flow, to boost your cardio conditioning. We focus on flexibility and building strength. This class is geared for those who are not new to yoga, but offers modifications making this class accessible to anyone interested in taking their practice to the next level. Chair Yoga (*Bf) Yoga is for everyBODY with our non-intimidating 45 minute chair yoga. You no longer have to worry about getting up and down from the floor in order to participate. Chair Yoga is incredibly beneficial for individuals with mobility issues. We’ll use folding chairs, and additional props such as blocks and a blanket to offer some additional support during class. Benefits: students can expect to have improved strength, flexibility, and range of motion in this upbeat and uplifting class.
Yoga Sculpt (*Bf) is a fun fusion class that emphasizes alignment and includes highly effective sequences of toning and resistance exercises using weights emphasis on the core, arms, seat and thighs. We utilize the best strength building poses from Yoga, Barre, Pilates and Strength Training to get transformative results. This is a challenging, high energy workout that provides amazing, visible results in a very short time!
